I'll see you in El Salvador!

I'm just sitting here at the departure lounge at Melbourne airport and started to get a little reflective. Okay, not a little but a lot!  :) and I just wanted to send you a super quick and heartfelt shout-out and a big Thank You before I hopped on the plane this morning.

As you may know, I'm heading off to El Salvador today! My first trip back in four years. The last time I had an opportunity to visit our programs was just before COVID-19, so much has changed around the world since then.

Yet here we are, ready and excited for a new season! 

This trip is particularly special as it was just under two years ago that you helped Salvador’s HOPE launch Women of Hope to advocate and speak out for adolescent girls and women in El Salvador. Over the past couple of years, we have been breaking ground to roll this program out and now, it's time to finally see the fruits of this program first-hand and meet some of the girls our program has touched! 

I hope that through photos and videos, I can do justice to the work that is happening through our Women of Hope violence prevention initiative. 

I know it will be a great trip and our team appreciates your prayers as we head into the next week of bringing to focus the rights of El Salvador's girls and women.

I know I say it often, but it continues to be with great sincerity when I say that we could not do any of this work without you! Thank you for your support!
