We are kicking off 2022!

Salvador’s HOPE is kicking off 2022 with exciting new plans as we continue working toward our vision of having an even greater and positive impact in the lives of people living in poverty.

But first a big Thank You!

The end of 2021 saw us launch our Christmas Appeal to assist families and children in El Salvador who would otherwise go without. We were overjoyed to have raised above our set goal for the campaign which allowed us to hold events across two locations with a total of over 350 people being reached and supported over the Christmas period!

Bringing HOPE to San Martin in 2022!

San Martin is a community that has been devastated by high levels of crime and gang violence. Often people in this community are unable to find employment and are frequently targeted with violence.

The success of our Christmas event and the level of community engagement in San Martin has allowed us to commence the roll out of our exciting new project in this community. We have a ‘pop up’ feeding program that will touch the lives of beautiful children with vital support.

This program, which will be run in the next few weeks, will be a two to three week pilot program which will help address the immediate needs of children and families in this community living in extreme and chronic poverty. We are confident that the program will be well received in the community as already, we are expecting to have an initial 60 children registered.

Our team has been busy reaching out to families with the news of the program and there is a growing sense of Hope amongst many families living in this community which has been destroyed by long term violence and poverty. Our heart and vision in San Martin is that through this program, we will see families come together and be transformed.
